The Gentlemen Thief Demonstrates “Attention Control” | Video

2013.10.04 Fri

You might think “Why the hell is this thief a speaker for TED?” but just bare with me and watch this TED Global 2013 video. This gentlemen thief is Apollo Robbins, a thief who studies human attention control.

On this video, he demonstrates his pick-pocketing skills to demonstrate how humans are really out of focus when you’re brain is focused on some other thing. His performances are really tricky that it seems like he is a magician.

You would probably feel that we have very narrow attention censors after watching this video.

By the way, his unusual skills keeps him busy as an entertainer, speaker, and a consultant. Hey what kind of job is that??
